Product Description
The Volkl Mantra M6 continues to improve upon a legend. For advanced and expert level skiers who are looking for that one-ski quiver to handle the whole mountain at high speeds and with an aggressive nature, the Volkl M6 Mantra is here to fit your all-mountain needs. There are some nice updates from the M5 to the M6, and the big story is the addition of the 3D Radius Sidecut. By altering the turn radius through the ski, it allows the skier to make differently shaped turns depending on terrain and snow conditions, offering a customized feel to the arc of the ski. Found in most other Volkl skis these days, the 3D Radius is now a stable, and makes turning the ski easier and more predictable. Keeping with the customized feel, Volkl is also tailoring the amount of metal and carbon in the ski based on the lengths, making the ski feel totally in tune and better suited to different lengths. The longer the ski, the more the metal in the titanal frame. This philosophy follows suit with the tailored carbon tip. By weaving carbon stringers in different ways, they’re able to keep the tip of the longer ski stiffer and more responsive, so that it makes larger skiers feel more at home, capable of initiating turns with ease. All of these tailored aspects of the ski add up to a wonderful update on an already very accomplished ski. Fans of the Mantra will find new love with the M6.
