The X-Pro 80 from Salomon is a great ski boot for the intermediate skier that has a medium to narrow forefoot and medium size shaft of the leg. A 24mm Oversized Pivot connects the upper cuff to the lower shell that drives energy to your skis for extra energy transmission and control over your skis. Salomon’s My Custom Fit Sport Liner has anatomically correct padding, and some Thermoformable material in the heel and ankle pocket that can be customized to your foot. The Twinframe Construction has a stronger plastic on the sole of the boot enhances the responsiveness by reducing torsional twisting of the shell when you start to pick up faster speeds.
