2018 Ski Review
You’re gearing up for winter and you need to trust the shop you buy from. At Potter Brothers, we test the skis we sell right here in the East coast so we can steer you in exactly the right direction to find the pair that’s perfect for you.
Mens – Advanced Skis
The cream of the crop. They’re carve like race skis, but are wide enough for soft snow. These skis handle just about any condition, anytime.
The ultimate go-anywhere, do-anything ski. This year featuring a little extra camber, the 88mm Brahma can dominate the entire mountain and can float in powder or rip on hardpack. An absolute blast of a ski. (more info)
Rossignol Experience 88
Another versatile ski that you can trust all over the mountain. At 88mm underfoot the Exp 88 offers surprisingly quick turning on groomers and ideal float in soft stuff. No metal in these skis, so they can be a little more forgiving for skiers who just want to cruise. (more info)
Volkl RTM 81
Most at home on groomed terrain, the RTM 81 is the corvette in the lineup. Total sports-car-like handling and the smoothest most precise ride you can find. Stable at any speed. (more info)

Salomon XDR 8.0
We loved this ski for it’s smooth stability and grippy turning. At 80mm underfoot you have the power to choose your turn radius with ease. New design for 2018. (more info)
Blizzard Rawhide Limited
This is a limited edition sleeper from Blizzard. A lively and athletic pair of skis that just rips at 82mm underfoot. You can test your limits and feel totally in charge on the Rawhide.
Rossignol Experience 84
The workhorse of the Rossignol Experience line, this 84mm will carve effortlessly on groomers and power through choppy crud at the end of the day. Super-easy to have fun on these skis. (more info)
