As we approach the start of our 77th season, Potter Bros is looking for outgoing and motivated individuals to join our team in Kingston and Fishkill. In addition to the fun and entertaining work atmosphere that can be found in a Ski Shop, we offer competitive pay and several ski industry benefits such as discounted gear and free skiing or snowboarding at some of our partner resorts.

Social Media & Web Coordinator
Job responsibilities:
– Content creation for Social Media posts, stories, reels
– Instagram and Facebook live coordination
– Email blast preparation
– Online chat communication
– General website updates
– Product uploads to online store
– Processing online orders
Ideal candidate should be very creative and outgoing with excellent communication skills and a willingness to work hard to meet deadlines. Photography skills are important. Some prior experience in this line of work is helpful.
This is part-time position with the option for full-time hours. Hourly pay starting between $17-$18 per hour.
** This is an in-house position based primarily at the Kingston Shop. Not remote.
Sales Associate (Fishkill Shop)
Job responsibilities:
– Sales of ski and snowboard gear including equipment, clothing and accessories
– Custom boot-fitting with ski and snowboard boots
– Properly sizing customers for rental gear and providing necessary binding adjustments
– Shop work including binding adjustments and light ski and snowboard tuning
– Point-of-Sale transactions
Ideal candidates should already participate in (or have an interest in) skiing or snowboarding, have good work ethics, strong communication skills and an ability to work well with others, especially under pressure during busy moments. Some prior retail or sales experience is helpful.
We currently have up to 3 openings for part-time or full-time hours (full-time is preferred between 30-35 hours per week). Pay could be hourly between $17-$22 per hour or salary pay based on prior work experience.
