Potter Brothers was established in 1945 by brothers Bud and Jack Potter as a general sporting goods store on Fair Street in Kingston, NY. Since that time, Potter Brothers has been family owned and operated by the Potter family. Starting with Bud and Jack, sons Dan and John became the second generation in the business and now their sons, Kyle and Jake, have become the third generation.
Today, we operate with stores in Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and Middletown, NY. We also have a shop located at the base of Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, MA. Potter Brothers believes in promoting the sports of skiing and snowboarding through our annual swap sales, discount lift tickets, affordable rental packages, and by offering the best selection and prices on ski & snowboard gear. Most importantly Potter Brothers prides itself on providing the best specialized customer service that only a family operated business can provide.
In addition to our passion for winter sports, Potter Brothers also offers quality Patio Furniture during the spring and summer months out of the Kingston and Fishkill stores.
As we enter our 65th year in business in 2010, we can only thank our loyal customers and dedicated staff who have helped make our business as success over the years.
